Building Bicycles Since 1972
For over 50 years, Merida Bikes have been building our bikes by hand in our own factory in Taiwan.
The strong connection between our highly skilled R&D team, based in one of the design and product development hotspots in Germany, and our hugely experienced engineers, production and assembly teams in our HQ in Yuanlin enables us to control the entire production process, from initial design concept to the finished product. This unique position, along with our constant strive to improve our products, allows us to produce some of the most sophisticated bicycles in the world.
